In March, the solar conference PV America West came to town and the industry showed up in force. It was great seeing so many of our customers, suppliers, partners, and yes- even some of our competitors visit San Jose for the event.
Between our sleek, high-performing, American-Made modules and our Bruce Springsteen ticket raffle, hundreds of people visited our booth to chat with us. It was an excellent chance to see so many different aspects of the industry and learn what people are working on. Some people shared stories of homeowners who were looking to go solar while still having a beautiful roof. Others told us they were looking for a solar solution that performed well in low-light, and still others said they really liked that our modules are 100% Made in the USA. With so many different needs in the industry, we are glad to be making modules that fills so many of them.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a solar conference if we didn’t all cut loose and party. We were thrilled to host our friends at Tanq Bar in Downtown San Jose, where we had some food, some drinks and a whole lot of fun. While there wasn’t any dancing this time, Intersolar in San Francisco is right around the corner.
In the end, PV America West was a rousing success. We connected with new friends, re-connected with old ones, and saw what’s new in the industry. If you visited our booth at the conference, thanks for stopping by, and if you couldn’t make it to the conference, we hope to see you at the next one. Special thanks go out to SEIA and SEPA for organizing the event, and for all their great solar advocacy work. See you at Solar Power International in Orlando!
